Why We Made This
We're parents in the UK who were tired of YouTube Kids - loud, fast, endless autoplay and ads every 2 minutes. Our toddlers needed something calm for bedtime and quiet time, not hyper-stimulating cartoons.
So we created Slow Wobble World - 5 soft balloon friends who move in a slow, gentle wobble. No loud noises. No fast cuts. Just simple words like wobble wobble, woof woof, meow, clip clop, stomp, hop, and ribbit. Perfect for calm bedtime stories for 2 year olds and 3 year olds, sensory breaks, quiet time, and now a free printable colouring book for fine motor skills.

A small world made for quiet moments
Slow Wobble World started with a simple idea: children do not always need something loud, fast or complicated. Sometimes a funny little character, a gentle story and a familiar sound are enough.
The five balloon friends each have their own little personality, but they all share the same unhurried style. They wobble, wander, help one another and settle down. The repetition gives children something familiar to listen for and join in with.
For grown-ups too
We know that finding something suitable for a young child can be harder than it sounds. Slow Wobble World is designed to be easy to use when you are looking for a quiet activity, a short story before bed, or something simple to enjoy together.
You can start with one of the five stories, meet all the characters on the home page, or let your child choose a picture in the free colouring book.
Growing gently
Slow Wobble World is a growing collection. We would rather add a few thoughtful stories and activities than fill the site with things children do not need. The aim is to keep it friendly, simple and easy to come back to.
