A quiet colouring activity to enjoy together
Choose one of the Slow Wobble World friends, pick a colour and tap the picture. There is nothing complicated to learn. Children can experiment, make funny colour choices or simply try to match the colours they know.
It can be a nice activity after a story, on a rainy afternoon, while travelling, or whenever you need a few quiet minutes. When the picture is finished, save it and print it if you would like a copy for the fridge or bedroom wall.
Meet the pictures
You can colour Floppy Dog, Fluffy Cat, Tall Horse, Big Dino or Squishy Frog. If a child has a favourite character, start there. Then try another one next time.
Try saying the colour together
When a colour is chosen, the page says its name aloud. This gives children a chance to hear and repeat words such as brown, tan, purple, light pink, cream, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, pink, white and black. Take your time and let your child choose whichever colour they like.
